Campaign with artist James Moore for the NFT drop of ‘GOD’
Antibody Club Virtual Exhibition
James Moore and Michael Lee (@michaellee.xyz) in collaboration with Max Lauter, Kevin Edzenga, Chris Lunney, and Dan Wender.
Renowned artist James Moore has released a limited edition set of digital and physical artworks as NFT. The work, having been exhibited in NYC and received acclaim on major networks like Vice, are available now at auction on Foundation. An interactive version of the work is on virtual exhibition at Antibody Club: James Moore.
The Umbrella in collaboration with James Moore offers the iconic piece of NYC street art ‘GOD ’ as both a full scale 14-foot digital print file and as a 1-of-1 NFT. The highest bidder will receive, in addition to the digital print file, a full scale vinyl print of the artwork, and permanent access to the interactive version, currently on view at the virtual gallery Antibody Club.
The print artwork gained notoriety in 2015 when it was produced by Christine Tran (formerly Witches of Bushwick, DiscWoman) and Becca McCaren (Chromat) to be sold as a limited print edition. From there it took on a life of its own, becoming ubiquitous: it was pasted all over Brooklyn and Manhattan, inked as tattoos, and was exhibited as an immersive installation by both the legendary Silent Barn and by RINSED. In 2020, a limited run was produced as a relief effort for covid-19— funds raised from sales were donated to the charity Direct Relief.
